Update re Friday and Sunday night gigs

Hi all

A few updates re this weekend’s gigs. Obviously Government restrictions have been lifted but some of you have been in touch, understandably concerned about the set up on the night, ventilation in St John’s and other Covid related issues.
So a few things to mention:
1. We strongly advise everyone to bring and wear masks at both events and also take a lateral flow test on the day of the gigs to ensure they are virus free. We'll do the same but obviously won't wear masks on stage!
2. We’re nowhere near full capacity in Kingston so people will be able to sit socially distanced. We've spoken to the church and they've said they will open up the west doors at the back of the church and open additional windows so there should be a good draft throughout.
3. In Guildford, the gig is outside on the terrace (unless weather is bad in which case it will take place in main auditorium where social distance seating will be possible). Entrance is via the main doors and there is a one way system in place to get out to the terrace.
We hope these steps will help mitigate any risks but obviously we can't eliminate them. Yvonne Arnaud say any customers with concerns about Covid can contact their box office to discuss and they’ll try to accommodate wherever possible.
Finally, there seems to be some confusion about the location of the church. It's not the old one in Kingston town centre, it's St John's on Grove Lane which is between Kingston and Surbiton. Here's a link to see it on a map. Parking is available in the roads nearby and should be free by Friday evening.
Right, that’s it for now - hope to see you on Friday/Sunday! Tickets for both gigs still available here. And remember we'll be live streaming Friday's gig so join us here at 8pm for a double FNF session!

The energy and stage presence for 2hrs was impressive and gave the whole event a wonderful atmosphere. The rendition of Elton John's "Your Song" was absolutely exquisite.
